Rob Verheul reinforces Blanco
Blanco supports asset managers such as investment firms, investment institutions and (private) banks with knowledge on one hand and scalable innovative solutions for asset accumulation based on state-of-the-art technology on the other. Effective September 1, 2017, Rob Verheul reinforces Blanco. Rob is a seasoned financial expert and operational manager with extensive experience in savings and wealth management that he gathered with banks and institutional asset managers. In addition to Blanco, he also offers strategic support to other financial institutions on an interim basis.
Rob Verheul started his career in the financial sector immediately after his business economics graduation. In the last 5 years, Rob was COO and a statutory member of the board of directors of institutional asset manager ACTIAM N.V. where he had various responsibilities among others for the mid and back office, data management and change management. Together with his teams, he made an important contribution to improving customer satisfaction, the introduction of new products and services, the control framework and further optimization of the operating model. Before his career with ACTIAM NV, Rob held various senior management positions with SNS Bank and was as such involved in several change processes like the securities administration automation, process management professionalization, integration of SNS Bank’s securities proposition with the online retail proposition of SNS Fundcoach, the merger of the private banking branch with SNS Securities and the outsourcing of the securities administration (Business Process Outsourcing) to BinckBank. About his new role with Blanco he says: “Blanco is currently developing a modular ‘Wealth Manager out-of-the-box’ based on the latest Cloud technology. It’s a great challenge to help build this. In addition, with my knowledge and experience, I can support new developments with both Blanco and its customers and I am looking forward to that.”
