Fund Seminar is a professional event and opportunity for those in the sector to stay informed about current developments. Blanco is participating in this year’s Fund Seminar and will hold a workshop focused on efficiently onboarding new clients.
Information about Fund Seminar 2021
Fund Seminar is an annual event held at “De Utrechtse Stadsvrijheid” curated to inform and inspire those in the sector. It is accessible free of charge and is intended for independent asset managers, asset planners, private bankers and financial planners. Asset managers of competing parties are excluded from participation.
The program this year is of a high standard, as always, and will include 5 rounds of 4 workshops, 4 demo rooms, the economists’ panel and an opportunity to network. The keynote speech will be held by the new chairperson of DSI, Mrs Tanja Nagel. The plenary wrap-up economists’ panel will feature Sandra Phlippen (Chief Economist of ABN AMRO), Vincent Juvyns (Executive Director of J.P. Morgan Asset Management) and Corné van Zeijl (Senior Strategist of ACTIAM).
The seminar will follow RIVM guidelines, which limits the number of visitors, and will be held on Thursday, 30 September 2021.
Blanco participates in Fund Seminar
Take the opportunity to meet us in person and learn more about our solutions. This year Blanco is organising a workshop at the Fund Seminar. The workshop introduces the Blanco KYC Suite and shows participants how to efficiently onboard a new client. Our speaker, Wilfred van Roosmalen, will do a “live onboarding” and will cover the following aspects:
- Collecting (name and address) data from a prospect
- Screening on PEP/sanction lists and adverse media
- Questionnaire to determine the profile
- CDD questionnaire on origin of assets, tax status, FACTCA, etc.
- Generating contracts (management agreement/investment proposal/tripartite agreement)
- Signing of contracts
