Blanco starts activities in Belgium and Luxembourg

It is Blanco’s mission to have asset managers such as investment firms and banks focus more on their core tasks by providing new technology and sharing knowledge. The appointment of Koen Vanderhoydonk follows the recent investment by Volta Ventures and KBC Start it Fund, which enables further growth in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Koen Vanderhoydonk is a seasoned financial expert with over 15 years of experience in the successful development of business-to-business financials. For example, he worked for Euroclear where he held various positions such as head of account management in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe and head of international marketing. Koen was also a key contributor to the digital transformation and the innovative agenda of Euroclear. Prior to that, he was general manager for BinckBank Professional Services in Belgium. Also, with The Financial Think Tank Koen has an international reputation as a fintech and regtech influencer on social media.
