Bernadette Wijnings participates in StartupRoulette’s first Female Founders edition
Bernadette Wijnings (co-CEO of Blanco) participated in the interactive roundtable at the launch of StartupRoulette’s first Female Founders edition last Friday, 21 May.
StartupRoulette is a monthly curated online speed dating event for startups, scale-ups, angel investors and VCs. It is organised by Golden Egg Check and aims to connect entrepreneurs and investors in an easy and efficient way. StartupRoulette carefully matches up startups and investors for a speed date (20 minutes) so they can meet people most relevant to their goals and ideas.
It is a well-known fact that the Netherlands has a huge gender investment gap and females are underrepresented in leadership roles, particularly in startups and tech companies. To help mitigate this gender gap, StartupRoulette launched their first Female Founders edition. For this occasion, StartupRoulette decided to change things up and expanded the program to include roundtables in addition to speed dates. The roundtables are organised with various venture capital investors who are willing to help and answer any questions around funding and growth topics.
Bernadette Wijnings participated in the program’s interactive roundtable for female founders, alongside Constantijn Van Oranje and Louise Doorn (HelloMaaS).
